Mother's Day

On March 2, 2007, when the nurses put Elizabeth Grace in my arms, for the first time I realized how much my mom loved me.  Until that moment when I became a mother myself, I couldn't comprehend it.

Thank you for everything and Happy Mother's Day, Mom!

I hope all of the mamas out there got exactly what they wished for today.

What?! 100?!

This is my 100th post.  I know, can you believe it?!  You can go back to January and count if you like, but I wouldn't tell you a story.

So first I would like to thank YOU for reading.  Because I never really expected anyone to read this.  Really I didn't.  I thought people I was related to would check intermittently and that would be that.  And i was ok with that.

But now there are comments and followers and giveaways.  So thank you, really.  It makes it so much more exciting to check back and see that someone has had a similar experience or can laugh at my breastfeeding misfortunes.  I'm happy to share products I love and even give a few away.  If I can save a "Sophie" or help you keep your modesty with an Udder Cover I'm thrilled to do it.

I hope you'll keep visiting Ellie-Town because, really, everyday is an adventure and I have lots more stories to share.  :)

Monet's Garden

Today Ellie went to Nonna's house for an Ellie & Nonna day.  When I picked her up she had adorable artwork inspired by Monet's garden {pics to come}.

Ellie went on to tell me that Claude Monet is an artist who lived in France.  She told me how he liked to paint flowers and water lilies.  Then she flipped through a book and told me all about five or six paintings.

Her little brain is a total sponge!  The most amazing part is that the Ellie & Nonna day was only from 8:30-11:30 am.  And now I feel like a total slacker!
