I love Shutterfly.  LOVE. 

My first Shutterfly experience was sending out a holiday card with just our little dog in front of our Christmas Tree in 2005.  Six months later I was pregnant with Ellie and 9 months after that I became a Shutterfly addict!

The first photo book I created was after we brought Ellie to Arizona to meet her great grandparents, great aunts and great uncle.  I made a book for myself and a book for my grandparents.  They have had it proudly displayed on their coffee table {now in the company of many others!} ever since.

I think that photobooks are the perfect way to commemorate a vacation.  This was Elizabeth's first trip to California and Disneyland.




My mom, who used to be an avid scrapbooker, has also become a Shutterfly addict.  She has made a book for each of Ellie's birthday parties and after each holiday celebration.  Nonna has even spread her Shutterfly love to her local Women's Club and made a photobook after their annual fundraiser.

Photobooks also make great gifts.  I made this one for our nephew Alex before he was born as an introduction into the family.



Along with photobooks, we have also created calendars as gifts the past two Christmases for grandparents and great grandparents.  When creating them, we use pictures from the earlier year that correspond with the months.  It makes it so fun to see how much the children have grown.

Another fun thing I've done with Shutterfly is to turn 5x7 folded cards into thank you's from birthday parties.  You can see sample of the cake thank you from Ellie's first birthday HERE.

Shutterfly cards are a great way to say thanks, wish a happy birthday, or just send a card for fun.  You can also create birth announcements, save the dates, holiday cards and so much more.
