Scared of Santa?

Elizabeth's first visit with Santa was epic.  So epic it made the Big City Paper in color with the title "The Yanks are Comin'!".



2008?  Yeah, not so great.

In 2009, Ellie tried to be polite but really wanted nothing to do with the guy.

And 2010?  Success! 

At least for Ellie.

While she didn't mind that she almost slipped out of his lap last year, this time Mads is not a Santa fan.

And Ellie was totally embarrassed to be sitting next to her.  Don't get me wrong, she tried to be the good big sis and hold her hand, sing her a song and make her laugh.  But when none of that worked, she looked down and had a 'I don't know who this baby is sitting next to me crying her head off' look on her face.

    hannah never had a problem with the big fella...but chandler was NOT a fan. he tends to be a lot more wary of things than hkay though. i'm interested to see what ava does this year....she'll probably dismantle the scenery, pull santa's beard off, and then walk away leaving her path of destruction behind her. grinning the entire time.

    That is priceless!!!!!! I love that E is embarrassed! Mia has only one pic with Santa and that was at 9 months old. Dylan has a good one from last year. Mia tells me she will stand next to santa.......this should be fun and intersting!

    Oh my gosh too funny. My oldest made the paper on her first Santa visit and she was totally crying!! My son never had any problems with Santa, but my youngest doens't really like to get too close even at 4. Every picture we have from the first three years are her crying. This year she stood by him once, but then when we saw him again this weekend she refused. Oh well! Even when your girls are crying they are still super cute!

    Love the beard "yank". Oh...my 3 yo daughter has yet to want to sit and take a picture with Santa. We'll see how this year goes.

    Oh, we have been through this too! Just when our oldest (4) is finally okay with the big guy, our little one won't want a thing to do with him, I'm sure. That is why I will be using "fall jumping in the leaves pics" on my Christmas cards instead of pics with Santa this year. Thanks for the LOL...I needed it tonight!
