Ellie's New Pets

Ellie received a couple of new pets for her birthday.

She is now the proud owner of Scoodles

and Jilly.

So far they really like to hang out in their Disco Room

but the Easter Bunny might bring them a few more accessories - they have hamster balls, cars, skateboards, Zhu Zhu Babies, outfits and lots more.

Ellie, like every other child in America, begged for the Zhu Zhu Pets for Christmas but they were sold out everywhere and neither her father or I were crazy enough to battle the crowds at 3 am for a fake hamster.

But they are back in the stores now and Ellie was thrilled when she opened them up at her party. The adults that don't have kids were looking at each other asking "what the heck is a 'zhu zhu pet?!' but all of the parents knew.

Jilly and Scoodles are great. They provide tons of fun for Ellie and Maddie (she LOVES to watch them!) and then they have an off switch and you put them on a shelf.

I can't imagine the hamster business at pet stores has been good since Zhu Zhu Pets have been on the market!
