On Monday

Ellie was trying to put sunglasses on Madeline while I was cleaning up the kitchen. They are way to big for M's peanut head and I was, obviously, worried that Ellie would poke her in the eye.

I told Ellie that Maddie doesn't need sunglasses and Ellie looked at me, embarrassed. I told her that Madeline says thanks, but no thanks and Ellie ran and hid behind the couch. She has a tendency to be embarrassed when you correct her behavior that she doesn't think needs correcting.

So she is hiding behind the couch and says, "I'm going to disappear forever!"

So I say, "Really? When will we see you again?"

"On Monday."
