She was surprisingly shy so I'm a little concerned about drop off's the first few weeks. Ellie's school has a system where the teachers get the kids out of the car and walk them inside that is supposed to assist with seperation anxeity. I was assured I can call to check on her if she is upset going in and one teacher said she has texted a parent with a picture of their child playing happily a short while later. It's good to know I'm not alone in the overproctive parent group!
Speaking of preschool, a few of Ellie's friends are going to be 'brown bagging it' as part of the 'Lunch Bunch' in all day school. If you are sending a lunch with your kid this school year, consider ditching the brown bag for a more fashionable and eco-friendly version.
When purchasing a lunch box/bag for your child or yourself, it should be safe, easy to clean and fun. I think you'll agree that these meet the standards:

those are the most stylish bags EVER!
ReplyDeletegood luck with drop-off. i have mixed feelings about that approach.
I agree with Liz, I am not sure about that pick up in the car idea but I am sure that the pre-school has researched all the options.
ReplyDeleteLunch boxes are my nemesis!! We've been through so many. I am in search of one that will either wash in the machine or sink. I like the oots one very much. I will research it when I get home. Hope they ship to Canada.
That Oots number is too cool. I want one!
ReplyDeletePopped in from Lady Bloggers! I'm glad I'm not the only one with a lunchbox at work!
ReplyDeleteI love all of the lunch bags! If I was still commuting in the city, I would be toting the white one with blue dots and pink accents. LOVE.
ReplyDeleteAbout the drop off approach, I'm concerned but we have been three different times for activities and at the back to school night next week we are going to do a dry run of the drop off procedure.
We are welcome to stay and observe/help as often as we would like so I could always meet her inside. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes!
I absolutely love those bags...if I was still teaching I'd definitely be ordering me one or two!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you as your drop her off...I know I'll be wreck in a few years that's for sure!
