Last night, each member of our family lit a candle to honor a friend's full term baby who passed away while she was in labor. Friends across the country did this simultaneously and then uploaded their pictures to Facebook for a 'virtual' candlelight vigil for NS and her husband so her friends could provide some light during their darkest hour. People who didn't even know the couple lit candles for them. It was truly moving and I hope they could feel our love.
Since finding out this tragic news, I cannot stop thinking about them, their baby, their grief. Praying that they will find a way through this unthinkable loss.
If you read this, please say a prayer for our friends and their sweet baby boy. Then hug the ones you love extra tight.

ReplyDeletethat is so incredibly sad. i know a couple other parents who went through that same sort of thing. a candlelight vigil is a great sentiment.
