4 things I learned this hoppy easter

This was our first holiday spent at Nonna and Poppa's beach house.  We had a fantastic time and learned a few new things along the way...

1.  Never put a toddler in a booster seat and push them right up to a table covered with newspaper under multiple mugs filled with dye.  She will look completely innocent one second but before you know it those little hands will grab that newspaper and shake with all their might.

2.  The Peeps / Kit-Kat combo is the breakfast of Easter Egg Hunting Champions.

3.  Don't delete the outtakes.  You might end up liking them better than the 'perfect' one.

4.  Be happy with an okay family photo even if your face can hardly be seen and it looks like you recently had a weave put in but really your daughter's long hair is just falling on your shoulder.

Because the next click could be this:  Ellie finishing a sneeze while Mads screams her head off, I'm saying "Ohh nooo!" but you have to hand it to Ryan for holding his pose.  Good job under pressure, Daddy!

How did you spend your weekend?

  2. That is how I feel every picture turns out when dealing with toddlers. My sons new thing is closing his eyes on purpose when he knows the picture is being taken!
