did you do the stripes on the wall? i want to do stripes on my daughter's wall but am a little intimidated by them. if you did them....any tips?
ReplyDeleteWe did do the stripes. It wasnt' too bad. We painted the entire wall a solid color - the color that we wanted to be where the tape was going to be.
ReplyDeleteThen we used a laser level and taped it off. We smoothed the tape with a credit card to make sure it was on there tight.
And then we just painted in the stripes. We waited until the next day to take of the taped.
We have horizontal stripes in the playroom and in Ellie's big girl room and the vertical stripes are much easier. If your walls are not perfectly straight, doing the horizontal stripes can make you crazy!
